The Gallery

Mark Hutchins Gallery represents some of New Zealand’s most distinguished contemporary artists, all of whom have exhibited to some extent internationally.

Over the last five years the gallery’s initial focus on abstract painting has broadened to include sculpture in a wide variety of materials, digital photography and moving image.

New exhibitions are presented every four weeks from a diverse programme of solo and thematically curated group shows. Special projects involving gallery artists are also regularly presented in partnership with public galleries and museums nation wide.

Hours
Tuesday to Friday from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm
Saturday from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. 
We are closed for general business on Sundays and Mondays but we are happy to open up on request. If you would like to make an appointment to visit the gallery after hours please call 021 722 839.
